ASIAN AMERICAN COMEDY
Chicago’s longest running
Asian American comedy team.
30 years and counting.
Stir-Friday Night! is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit theater company founded in 1995. Based in Chicago, Illinois, we are one of the nation’s premier Asian-American comedy troupes. Having worked with such renowned companies such as The Second City and iO (formerly known as Improv Olympic), Stir-Friday Night! has become a fixture in Chicago’s comedy scene.
As an ensemble of Asian-American actors/writers, we travel the nation performing improv and sketch shows that educate all audiences, from an Asian- American perspective. Our diverse cast keeps audiences laughing while delivering messages with which they can identify.
Our alumni include Danny Pudi from Community, Steven Yeun from The Walking Dead, and Mary Sohn from AP Bio.
